Castleglenn Consultants Inc. was retained by the Ottawa Hawthorne Business Park Association to provide a peer review of a Transportation Brief that addressed a proposed Storage Facility to be located within the south-west quadrant of the Walkley Rd / Hawthorne Rd intersection.

The intent of the review was to provide a professional opinion regarding the traffic operational characteristics likely to be associated with the proposed access strategy as recommended within the Transportation Brief.

The Peer Review provided valuable insight into issues related to appropriate access spacing in proximity to a free flow channelized intersection configuration, conflicting turning movements, weaving distances afforded to heavy vehicle movements and internal traffic circulation characteristics.
